Ligner på en stout når den helles i glasset. Nesten sort med et mokkabrunt skum. Lukter surt. Smaken er litt ubestemmelig. På grensen mellom et meget godt øl og et litt ubalansert øl. Smaker mye eple og marsipan. Med andre ord litt sursøtt og udefinerbart. Litt ubestemmelig, men egentlig ikke noe galt med denne.
